Background to the Vacancy
To ensure the project captures the necessary knowledge about HR Processes and the use of the People System. This expert will support the design, build and test of the new solution whilst considering the impact on business as usual.
- Reporting to the HRSS Project Manager, ensuring milestones are defined, tracked and reported through production of weekly highlight reports
- Acting as point of contact for the project team on specific HR Process impacts
- Providing an understanding of the HR Processes and the interactions with HR systems and how HRSS operationally utilises the system
- Developing and delivering the Change Impact Assessment of the change and subsequent change requests (people, process, service and system) affecting HRSS with specific emphasis on process impacts
- Working alongside the UAT team to ensure the UAT Plan captures the requirements of HRSS ensuring process coverage
- Feeding into the HRSS Readiness Plan to support the successful implementation of the project
- Capturing the SME input to process activities that support the HRSS Readiness Plan. Develop To Be Processes and Standard Operating Procedures, feed into development of Communications and Engagement Materials
Technical skills/business skills required
- Understanding of the People System and interfaces with other HR Systems
- In-depth knowledge of the HRSS processes
- Understanding of how the use of HR Systems and processes impacts on pay
- Good Project Management experience - building a plan, tracking and reporting Project status
- Experience of working in a project environment
- Motivated self-starter
- Excellent communication and Influencing skills
- Ability to interact with diverse groups of technical and non-technical people
