As an expert in the field of Information Governance. The Head of Information Governance be responsible for managing the IG agenda across Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. Take a lead in the development and management of the Information Governance Framework and Information Governance Strategy. This role will take responsibility for the development, implementation and delivery of the Trust's annual Information Governance work programme
The Head of Information Governance will advise on Freedom of Information and Access to Health Records requests and provide specialist expert advice to the Caldicott Guardian and Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) Engagement with staff across the organisation to communicate Information Governance standards and issues is a key focus.
This is a key role at the Trust and the post holder will be expected to contribute to the growing agenda around information security.
