Job Reference: 365-WAHNT1855
Employer:Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS TrustLocation:WorcesterSalary:30,805 per annum
Our trust manages three hospitals in Worcestershire: the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch; Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre and Worcestershire Royal Hospital. We also manage a surgery ward at Evesham Community Hospital.
We provide acute services to a population of over 500,000 and our staff are recognised as providing good and outstanding patient-centred care.
Our vision is about taking pride in our healthcare services, and our PRIDE values are important in our everyday work.
Public consultation on the Future of Acute Hospital Services in Worcestershire is currently underway.
Under the plans being put to public consultation all three main hospitals, the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre and the Worcestershire Royal Hospital will remain open but will work differently in future.
Both Accident and Emergency Departments (at Worcestershire Royal Hospital and the Alexandra Hospital) would remain open 24-hours a day but, due to the transfer of inpatient children's beds, the A & E at the Alexandra Hospital would be for adults (over 16 years old) only. Both the Alexandra and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals would have new Urgent Care Centres which would treat adults and children with minor and moderate illnesses and injuries. Diagnostic tests and outpatient appointments would take place in all three hospitals, as now.

We are committed to making changes that ensure all of our hospitals thrive, and it's an exciting time for you to join us.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Visas and Immigration department requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.
From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years.
