A post is available within Paediatric Dentistry within the Community Dental Service for a full time Band 6 Dental Therapist.
The Dental Therapist will work as part of a team of clinicians providing care to children requiring specialist treatment. The team includes Consultants, Specialists, Dentists, Specialty Trainees, Dental Core Trainees and a large team of dental nurses. The therapist will be expected to deliver the complete range of treatments within the scope of practice and develop inhalation sedation skills, if not already skilled in this area.
Within the Community all of the dental specialities are represented by Consultant led Departments.
