An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our International Environment Planning Team and work in this fast-paced area of the business.
The role offers an opportunity to work alongside our franchise partners, gaining an insight into the broader Global Store Design team and experiencing first-hand the excitement of launching new and modernisation stores across our global business.
This challenging role would suit a highly-motivated and commercially aware individual with strong design, CAD and architectural experience, looking to gain exposure to our International business.
What is the purpose of the job?
� Provide expert knowledge to all partners on all aspects of store design environment including store fascia, signage, graphics, lighting, services and block plans
� To manage the end to end process of delivery of the environment brief and internal layout, ensuring a consistent handwriting across all schemes
� Maximise the commercial and aesthetic potential of each store in line with the latest design guide and visual principles
� Ensure all stores are delivered on time and to budget
� Upskilling of in country teams on environment design
� Creation of store CAD Plans
� Deliver the Space Team�s Proposition for Ways
� Ensure catalogue is maximised for business units and all commercial opportunities via customer profiles are exploited
� Ensure store plans are delivered on time, to policy, engaging with local teams
� Engage, communicate and support stores and regional teams
� Operate as part of a high performing store environment interior and visual layout team
� Manage and adapt to the rapidly evolving nature within the international business
� Design environment layouts that are inspirational and commercial
What do you need to achieve?
� To develop the environment brief and loose equipment plan for each new and modernisation store; working with the nominated architect and in-country design team managing the end to end process
� Make commercial decisions and maximise the use of GM space set out by the space team
� Ensure the block plan, and environment, design package meets the partner requirements and is commercial and visually appealing
� Constantly review opening programme and react to local issues, updating and reviewing environment layout and footage utilisation if necessary.
� Establish and maintain working relationships with franchise partners and field teams
� Work closely with the VM Team to ensure you remain up to date on future policy
� Interact effectively with many teams � Planning, Marketing, Policy, Space, Procurement, Programme and Property and country contacts
� Support Store openings Internationally and ensure plan is delivered
� Extensive International travel required

� Computer literate
� Architectual and special awareness
� Excellent communication and influencing skills
� Good awareness of worldwide cultural differences
� Commercial understanding of store layout principles
� Understanding of operation issues that affect stores.
� Knowledge of retail
� Able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
� Ability to influence and be comfortable in dealing with senior management
� Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
