At M & S, our Customer Insight team sits at the centre of our strategy to put the customer at the heart of our business. Taking accountability for providing a clear and objective understanding of the markets in which M & S operates (Food, Clothing, Home & Beauty), both in-store and online, they create a connected understanding of our customer behaviours, attitudes and needs.

As a direct result of our commitment to make every moment special for our customers, we are looking to recruit brilliant, data-driven and customer-centric insight professionals into a variety of roles within the team.

The Customer Insight Team aim to:
- Maintain and build credibility as a collaborative team that champions the customer across all of M & S
- Enhance our data, technology and partnerships to create an insight platform that is built on trusted, connected data from a rich set of market and internal sources, and which also enables greater access to the insight for decision making
- Leverage advanced analytics to build new capabilities that extract more value from the data we have
- Deliver the best possible insight and foresight about our customers, and in doing so bring to life our customer needs, opportunities for M & S to meet those needs
- Influence everyone in M & S to act upon data and insight in their business areas, ensuring the customer is at the centre of how we make decisions

We're looking for candidates to fill a variety of roles within the team which all merit different skills, but a few of our key requirements are below - if some of these sound like you or you think your experience aligns with the team's goals, then please apply and send us your details:

- Experience of using customer data to create insight for another business, whether in-house or a consultancy
- Strong commerciality
- Highly numerate and/or analytical (a strong statistical background is a benefit for some roles)
- Experience of using insight to drive business decisions and customer centricity
- Experience of complex stakeholder management and delivery of projects and programmes on time and to budget
