Clinical/Forensic Psychologist
Band 6

Based at Quayside House (Sandwell Learning Disabilities Team)
We require a highly motivated individual to join our specialist Learning Disabilities team.
Based predominantly in the community, the post holder will take an active clinical role in the assessment and treatment of individuals who have a Learning Disability and complex health care needs.
This post offers the opportunity to supervise support staff, and contribute to ongoing service developments.
You will possess a BSc or diploma in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered. Experience of working within a Learning Disability setting is essential, as is good verbal and written communication skills. Post-graduate training in sensory integration and/or postural management would be advantageous.
The Occupational Therapy service has a well-established supervision structure and offers a range of training/CPD opportunities including access to Trust development groups. The service is also committed to the preceptorship scheme for newly qualified staff and fieldwork education training.
