Nutrition and Dietetics is a countywide service provided by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust to all of the acute hospitals, primary care, community hospitals, mental health, learning disabilities, public health and the community. The Service is made up of over 50 Dietitians, 6 Dietetic Assistants and administrative support on all sites. The Community Team is based at East Oxford Health Centre.
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Dietitian with a background in community public health dietetics. You will have responsibility for delivering an equitable service across Primary care and line manage the Dietitians providing that service. You will maintain a clinical caseload, including facilitating community clinics and health promotion group work.
This is an excellent development opportunity for someone interested in getting involved in service development and management. We are looking for someone who is innovative and can work with the Operational Lead in shaping the community service to meet changing demands.
There is a commitment to personal development and CPD and you will receive support and supervision as well as access to senior staff as required.
There is an expectation that all staff are involved in corporate departmental project work, audit / research and the teaching of other healthcare professionals. All staff are actively involved in student training.
