Deliver a full cleaning/domestic service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the ''NHS Property Services Domestic Manual'', at the prescribed times and in line with policies and procedures as detailed in the cleaning work schedules.
Ensure a clean environment for patient care in accordance with Health & Safety requirements, ''NHS National Specification of Cleaning Standards'', COSHH, Patient led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS Property Services policies and procedures.

Duties include but are not limited to: vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture/fittings, cleaning of mirrors and internal glass, sanitary ware, e.g. baths, showers, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, high dusting of walls and ceilings, floor maintenance etc..

GCSE 'O' Level standard or equivalent in English and Mathematics
COSHH would be an advantage but not essential
Level 2 Cleaning related qualification or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential
It is important that you are a good team player and enjoy helping people, have the ability to work on own initiative and the ability to work under pressure with effective organisational and communication skills.
